…as if the McCain campaign needed more trouble. Now a supporter gives him TOO much support. But, look at how she went about it. This is the kind of madness his campaign inspires.
And, as we all knew as soon as the story broke, its a lie. Also indicative of the McCain/Palin campaign.
Rachel, I can’t say enough about the you. You are the BOMB!
There is only one way to deal with this kind of story: Very Seriously! Yes, this is a complicated story. Not simply a case of a woman lying, but a woman trying to invoke some of the worse aspects of the racial problems in America. It needs to be addressed by serious people. This woman should not be simply dismissed as some random nut. And to your credit Rachel, you did not.
And to all the MSM that accepted this story and ran it as is without a shred of evidence, without questioning its authenticity despite the fact that it had the stench of absurdity (unless you believe that support for a man touting the virtues of hope and change can inspire African American men to commit violent sexual racially motivated assaults in his name) I have just one word for you all:
ENOUGH!

It’s like he didn’t even see the Joe the Plumber moment with Barack Obama. As far as I’m concerned that interaction favored Obama. He didn’t bullshit Joe. He told him that even though he would be taxed more (if he were indeed licensed and indeed going to buy this business) and that if he profited his capital gains would not be taxed And he gave him the social benefits, too. If the middle class is doing better you’ll have more clients. So why does McCain think this issue benefits him in the slightest??? He has gone around the bend. And he ain’t coming back!
I almost feel sorry for him. That is, if he wasn’t still dropping Joe or Ayers name every time he opened his mouth, I would. But, he alas, once again, KO says it best:
